There are a variety of volunteer openings available including Data Entry Volunteer, Pantry Volunteer, Store Volunteer, and Donation Area Volunteer. Let us know what special skills you have such as merchandising, social work, computer skills, bilingual, etc. so that we can find the right position to share the talents God gave you!
DATA ENTRY VOLUNTEER
Welcome and guide clients through the intake process
Verifying client eligibility
Data Entry
PANTRY VOLUNTEER
Pack food bags
Stock food shelves
Rotate food based on use by dates and first in first out
Bag produce
Maintain cleanliness of food and back dock areas and adjoining bathroom
Assist in other areas as needed
STORE VOLUNTEER
Assist clients with selecting clothing and items
Help prepare food carts as needed
Check to ensure appropriate selections are made by clients
Assist clients in taking their food and clothing to their vehicles
Stock clothing racks and shelves from carts with donated items
Help maintain cleanliness and order of "The Store."
DONATION AREA VOLUNTEER
Receive donations and issue receipts to donors
Sort items received, organize by size and label
Bag items for storage
Load carts with items ready to stock in the client service area, a.k.a. "The Store"
Assist with yard sales, boutiques, and other duties in the donation area as designated by the lead volunteer
